Front-loaded Savings

Front-load washing machines use less energy and less water (double savings).  Plus, because they have faster spin loads, they wring more water out of wash loads.  This means clothes spend less time in the dryer (which reduces your energy costs there as well).    For a comparable top-load washer versus a front-load washer you can expect to say about $129 every year in lower electricity and water costs.
