Recycling Cell Phones

With cellphone styles changing almost daily and new phones often offered as free upgrades or with any plan you switch you, most families (especially with teenagers) usually have a couple of old, discarded cellphones laying around.  Don’t toss them—give them to someone who’ll put them to use. will pay for shipping and pay you a modest sum for your phone.  Community groups (like women’s shelters) will often take discarded phone donations—they may not have an active plan but they can still be used to call 911 in case of an emergency.  You’re not only keeping a phone out of a landfill but you’re improving the safety of someone else by donating.
