Committees

St. Stephen's organizes its mission through the use of committees. Most committee members are elected by the members of the church, with some appointments made by the pastor or membership extended as a courtesy. membership on most committees is for a term of three years. Our hope is that every member of the church will serve on a committee.

The "Church Table" organizes and coordinates the work of the committees together within the church. The lay leader is responsible to act as the voice of the congregation. Associate lay leaders assist the lay leader and focus on core areas of the church's mission. The pastors are the chief pasotoral and administrative officers of the church, and provide pastoral guidance to all of the committees.

While web space is provided for each of the committees, not every committee has yet begun to use this medium.
