Our Mission: Ignite Active Christian Faith in the lives of young people in our community.

The 4 things we guarantee when you participate in Youth Ministry events and service opportunities:

  1. Food: We eat together every Sunday morning (doughnuts and brownies), Thursday afternoon (froyo and coffee), and Sunday night (a tasty snack supper at Youth Group).
  2. Fun: We do stuff that matters but it always seems to include a game or something that makes you think, or laugh, or sweat, or go “WOAH!”
  3. Friendship: So much of spiritual growth or exploring religion is just about making friends that you can be yourself with. We try to make that a part of everything we do.
  4. Prayer: Every time we get together we pray, but unlike most Youth opportunities, we even have a 30 minute youth-led prayer service as the end of our Sunday Nights together. It’s meditative, lovely, interesting, and also usually funny. Prayer doesn’t have to be boring, it just has to matter.

What’s Coming Up:

For the second summer in a row we’ll be going on Summercon, a summer confirmation retreat experience for High Schoolers. It’s a chance to explore faith a little more deeply, and to choose to officially call yourself a Christian (or to re-affirm the commitment you’ve already made). Also… it’s a very cool trip!

Youth Sunday School 9:45-10:45 am

We offer two great Sunday School classes for youth. Grades 7th – 9th meet in Room M9. Grades 9th – 12th meet in the Youth Room. Exciting curriculum has been specially planned and prepared for this year! These groups are combined for the summer and meet in the youth room.

Weekly Youth Group

Sunday Nights 5:30-7:30 – (Prayer Starts at 7:00 in the Chapel) – Includes a light supper, games, and wrapped up with a prayer service led by the youth and Pastor Drew

Thursdays at 3:30 (Free froyo and coffee)

We meet at Zinga and/or Peet’s in Kings Park Shopping Center

Breakfast Bible Study

We meet at the McDonald’s in the Kings Park Shopping Center. Times vary by season, so check with Pastor Drew!

Summer Mission Trips

Our Summer Mission Trips are a must-experience kind of thing. Middle Schoolers go to the Jeremiah Project and High School students go to ASP. Our teams had a great summer, but check with the office about getting on the 2018 Summer Mission Trip list.
