Rev. Rob Robertson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Rob grew up in Virginia Beach. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he was pre-med and a history major. Following his graduation, Rob went into the information technology field and owned his own business. During the late 1990s, Pastor Rob was hearing a call to full-time ministry. After selling his business in 1999, he answered the Lord’s call and attended Duke Divinity School, graduating in 2004. Since then, Pastor Rob has served as the lead pastor in three congregations in the Virginia Conference: two churches for six years each in Virginia Beach, and a congregation in Charlottesville. Pastor Rob and his wife, Carolyn, will be celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary in September. They have two adult children, Michael and Katherine, and a 5 year-old black lab, named Rubee.

Pastor Forrest (yes, like Forrest Gump) grew up in the Methodist church as a pastor’s kid. He came to real faith in Jesus when as a Senior in High school in Hampton Roads where he was born and raised. He went on to major in Earth and Environmental Science at Virginia Wesleyan College, while being a part of ministry on campus and off with Younglife and others. He married the love of his life, Emilee, in 2018 on a hot July day. They met on a mission trip to Nicaragua. He loves Baseball and the Chicago Cubs! He is a fan of NC State and the Carolina Panthers. Pastor Forrest grew up at the beach, so he learned how to surf and skim board which came naturally having skate- and long-boarded for years. He enjoys video games because they connect him to old friends. He also enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities.
