Color Your World

For the first three Sundays of May, we have a color-based series. Please be invited to wear the
color that goes with the morning’s theme. On May 5, we will be “going green” for Creation Care Sunday;
so please pull out your green outfits to wear that Sunday. On May 12, we will be “thinking orange,” as
we consider the combination of red and yellow; red represents the family blood lines and yellow
represents the light of the Gospel; thinking orange brings together church and family as we consider
how God works through both; so please find your orange clothing and wear it that Sunday. On May 19,
we will be “living red,” for Pentecost Sunday as we celebrate the tongues of fire that accompany the
Holy Spirit coming to form the Church and make new disciples for Christ; we will receive a class of young
disciples through the Confirmation Class that Sunday; so please plan to wear red for Pentecost Sunday,
May 26.
