Beginning April 19th, we will be turning our focus to mission with the sermon series “Sent.” During this series, there will be a number of opportunities to grow in faith, including small groups, Phoenix Rising, Change the World Sunday, Imagine No Malaria, and more.

Our small groups for this series are:

hole in our gospel

The Hole in Our Gospel led by Derek Reinhard and Jerry Tussing

This book looks at a 5-part journey to discovering how the whole gospel is meant to be a social revolution that begins with us. After an interest meeting at 7pm Sunday, April 19, we’ll meet on Sundays, 7pm-8pm until May 31st (skipping Memorial Day weekend). Come join us as we journey toward walking with the poorest of the poor.




Toxic Charity, led by Pastor Marg

This is THE book churches and non-profits are studying to learn how to make positive and sustainable change in the lives of people and their community. This three session study will meet on Tuesdays April 28, May 12, and May 19 from 7:00-8:30 pm.




Poisonwood Bible led by Pastor Abi 

Join the conversation over dinner as we explore the Oprah Book Club selection “The Poisonwood Bible” by Barbara Kingsolver about the life of evangelical Baptist missionary, Nathan Price, and his family in the Belgian Congo in 1959.  Book Club hosted on Thursday, May 21st.



irresistible revoltion

Irresistible Revolution led by Pastor Drew This casual small group class will read through this book by Shane Claiborne. We will study what it means to be sent out into the world to live radically different lives because we are sent by Christ. While this is a book-group, you won’t need to have read the book to attend the group. Monday evenings at 5 pm beginning April 20.
