United Methodist Women have fun and serve!
Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church. Membership is open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the Global Mission of the Church through the United Methodist women.
UMW Circles
St. Stephen’s has four groups or Circles that meet monthly for spiritual growth, service and fellowship. All women are welcome!
- Betty Whitehurst- second Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
- Faithful Friends- first Tuesdays at 7:15 p.m.
- Frances Allen- second Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
- Saturday Sisters- second Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.
- Teen Circle - second Sunday at 11:00 am in the IYF room
