SUMMARY:INOVA Blood Donor Event
DESCRIPTION:Our next drive with Inova Blood Donor Services will be Monday\, Jan. 17\, 2022\,  (Martin Luther King\, Jr. holiday) from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. You are eligible to donate if you are in good health\, weigh at least 110 pounds\, are at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent)\, and will not have donated whole blood since Nov. 22.  Currently\, IBDS’s supply of all 8 types of blood is low.  You can help by being a donor on Jan. 17.  Click here to reserve your spot now to save a life!

SUMMARY:St. Stephen’s Manger Ministry
DESCRIPTION:Helping Neighbors In Need\, through December 26 \nEach year St. Stephen’s directs  its Christmas Eve offerings to its Manger Ministry\,  supporting  outstanding nonprofits doing God’s work\, helping local families get back on their feet.  In 2021\, the Manger Ministry will again partner with Gartlan House and Homestretch. Learn more and find out how to donate at  https://www.ststephensfairfax.org/mangerministry Manager Ministry serves Homestretch and the Gartlan house for thanksgiving and Christmas. We receive a special offering on Christmas eve when 100% of that day goes to those missions. Donations will be open online starting Dec.1 through the end of the month with a special designation. Envelopes to give on Sunday mornings will be available in the lobby on Dec. 12\,19\, 26. \n

SUMMARY:Grace Ministries Christmas Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:All gifts due December 15\, 2021 \nGrace Ministries  has been reaching out to neighbors in need for more than a decade\, distributing food\, diapers and clothing. Each December\, the program relies on  the generosity of the community to bring Christmas cheer to all through our Christmas Toy Drive.  Our goal this year is to  serve over 300 families with a Christmas meal and gifts. A gift tree will be placed in the entryway of the church where you can pick an item or age group to buy gifts for. Further instructions and specifics will be available  in upcoming emails and on the Grace Ministries Webpage  If you would like to volunteer to either help give gifts\, run items\, handout food\, or direct traffic on Dec. 18th’s distribution please sign up here. Gifts can be dropped off at the church during church hours or contact the church office to set up a time. Some gift ideas are soccer balls\, basketballs\, Barbie’s\, infant toys\, unisex toys\, legos.  Deadline for toy  donations is December  15th. \n
