SUMMARY:Dive In 2022
DESCRIPTION:During 2022\, everyone is invited to dive into God’s Word. Reading God’s Word is important for everyone who wants to know God and God’s will more and more. Instead of reading through the whole bible in a year or through the New Testament in a year\, everyone is encouraged to join in reading deeply through several books of the Bible in 2022.  \nOur readings will come from both the Hebrew scriptures and the New Testament. There will be five readings each week\, Monday through Friday. Plus\, there will be an optional Zoom discussion each month. This session lasts one hour. The first discussion is January 17th at 7:30p.m. The link for the monthly discussion is here.  Whether this is your first study or you have participated in multiple studies\, these readings and discussions are designed for you!

DESCRIPTION:Back  by popular demand\, the St. Stephen’s Children’s Ministry is organizing a pop-up Christmas  lights and inflatables  drive-through display scheduled to take place on the evenings of Saturday\, December 11th and Sunday\, December 12th.  Volunteers are also needed  on Saturday\, Dec. 11 between 10 a.m. and 4:00 p.m for set up and for take down on Sunday\, the 12th\, from 9-10 p.m. We are  also seeking donations of electrical cords\, lights\, and inflatables. All donations will be returned  to you unless otherwise requested

DESCRIPTION:Helping Neighbors In Need\, through December 26 \nEach year St. Stephen’s directs  its Christmas Eve offerings to its Manger Ministry\,  supporting  outstanding nonprofits doing God’s work\, helping local families get back on their feet.  In 2021\, the Manger Ministry will again partner with Gartlan House and Homestretch. Learn more and find out how to donate at  https://www.ststephensfairfax.org/mangerministry Manager Ministry serves Homestretch and the Gartlan house for thanksgiving and Christmas. We receive a special offering on Christmas eve when 100% of that day goes to those missions. Donations will be open online starting Dec.1 through the end of the month with a special designation. Envelopes to give on Sunday mornings will be available in the lobby on Dec. 12\,19\, 26. \n

SUMMARY:Grace Ministries Christmas Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:All gifts due December 15\, 2021 \nGrace Ministries  has been reaching out to neighbors in need for more than a decade\, distributing food\, diapers and clothing. Each December\, the program relies on  the generosity of the community to bring Christmas cheer to all through our Christmas Toy Drive.  Our goal this year is to  serve over 300 families with a Christmas meal and gifts. A gift tree will be placed in the entryway of the church where you can pick an item or age group to buy gifts for. Further instructions and specifics will be available  in upcoming emails and on the Grace Ministries Webpage  If you would like to volunteer to either help give gifts\, run items\, handout food\, or direct traffic on Dec. 18th’s distribution please sign up here. Gifts can be dropped off at the church during church hours or contact the church office to set up a time. Some gift ideas are soccer balls\, basketballs\, Barbie’s\, infant toys\, unisex toys\, legos.  Deadline for toy  donations is December  15th. \n
