Indoor Worship at St. Stephen's Church has resumed

St. Stephen’s has resumed holding indoor worship services Reservations are recommended, not required

St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Burke, Va., successfully resumed  indoor, in-person worship in its sanctuary, Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Starting with the Sunday, July 18th, 11 a.m. indoor, in-person service, seat reservations will be recommended, not required and walk-ins will be welcome on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those seats not reserved will be available to walk ins when our doors open at 10:45 a.m., Sunday.

St. Stephen’s has implemented an online seat reservation system for its  11 a.m. indoor services, designed to ensure a safe and healthy experience for all. Below you can view step by step directions on how to reserve your seats or you can click the link below to go directly to the reservation site. You an also read more about the health guidelines that all attendees will need to follow at the indoor services.

The reservation window for our Sunday indoor services  begins at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and closes at 11:59 p.m., on Saturday. 

For those not ready to return indoors, we will continue to livestream our 11 a.m. service on YouTube and hold outdoor 9 a.m. services.  We can’t wait to worship with you.

Reserve your seat now for our next indoor, in-person service at St. Stephen's

Click here to  reserve your seats for our next Sunday morning indoor, in-person worship service. The reservation window begins at 12:01 a.m., Monday and closes at 11:59 p.m., Saturday.

Not only can you make a reservation on this system but you can also easily use it to  cancel a reservation.

Here is what you need to do to reserve a seat for our next service :

1. Please click on the service you will see listed on the left hand of the reservation page.

2. You will then see a seat map for the sanctuary. Click on the section you would like to sit and you will be taken to that section. You will be asked to provide your name and email address so we can send you a confirmation email. Once you have registered, you’ll only need to provide your email address on the login page to make future reservations.If you are reserving seats for others in your party, you will be asked to list those names individually in the spaces marked attendees .

3. Click on any of the pink (available) seats you need. If you are attending by youself or as a couple, pleaese choose seats on the aisle. All resevations will automatically creat a social distance of three seats from the next person, group reserving seats.

4. After you have made your selection, please click submit and you should immediately receive an email confirmation.

Please note, as some may not be ready to return to indoor worhsip, we will continue to livestream our 11 a.m. worship service and hold our 9 a.m. outdoor worship services on Sundays.

Currently all indoor worship attendees at our sanctuary services that start June 13th will be required to wear masks. Please check  this webpage regularly so you will be up to date on the most current mask and social distancing guidelines at St. Stephen’s. Thank you!

All are welcome at the indoor services however to ensure social distancing between all individuals and families attending we have set up an online reservation system where you can choose the seats you would like to sit in. Be part of our Welcome (Home) Team

The Welcome  team needs additional volunteers to support our weekly indoor, in-person worship services. In addition to greeting guests and answering questions, these volunteers will check in guests in accordance with our new reserved seating system that will be announced soon.
