lease join us for Sunday School!
Sunday school is the primary tool we use for Christian education for our children. The curriculum, “Grow, Proclaim, Serve!” published by Cokesbury, covers the same topics across all ages and grades each week (though occasionally teachers will decide to approach a different topic.)  Bible readings, songs, crafts, and other activities are all part of the learning experience. During the summer months, we often combine classes between close age groups while some children and class leaders are on vacation.
When children reach confirmation age (usually in the spring of 6th grade or later), they can join a confirmation class that meets during the same period. Confirmation classes explore basic Christian beliefs as well as United Methodist history and doctrine, and involve retreats and field trips.
Sunday School classes are offered at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. We ask all students to sign-in at the Children’s Ministry Check-in Kiosk each week and to pick up their nametag.  First time guests are encouraged to come a few minutes early to complete the registration form (or you can print the form to the right and bring the completed form with you to save time). Parents are welcome to attend Sunday school with their children initially as they become acquainted with their new class.
To ensure the safest environment for our students, all Sunday School teachers have participated in the life of the church for a minimum of 6 months before volunteering and we perform background checks on all paid and unpaid leaders who work with children.
