Meet Pastor Forrest, associate pastor for Youth,Young Adults, and Outreach
Pastor Forrest (yes, like Forrest Gump) grew up in the Methodist church as a pastor’s kid. He came to real faith in Jesus when as a Senior in High school in Hampton Roads where he was born and raised. He went on to major in Earth and Environmental Science at Virginia Wesleyan College, while being a part of ministry on campus and off with Younglife and others. He married the love of his life, Emilee, in 2018 on a hot July day. They met on a mission trip to Nicaragua. He loves Baseball and the Chicago Cubs! He is a fan of NC State and the Carolina Panthers. Pastor Forrest grew up at the beach, so he learned how to surf and skim board which came naturally having skate- and long-boarded for years. He enjoys video games because they connect him to old friends. He also enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities.
