Help Spread the Blessings of Christmas to All

Thank you to everyone who donated gifts to our 2020 Toy Drive. As a result of your generosity, children of the more than 200 families who visited our December Grace Ministries event will have a total of more than 600 presents to open on Christmas! Thank you and God bless you!

Grace Ministries at St. Stephen’s has been  reaching out to our neighbors in need for more than a decade, distributing food, diapers and clothing to our guests every month. In November, about 400 guests were served during our Thanksgiving event.  Each  December, the program relies on local elves and the generosity of the community to bring Christmas cheer to all through our Christmas Toy Drive which culminates at 7:30 a.m., Saturday morning, Dec. 19th, when donated gifts are distributed along with our regular monthly distribution of food and diapers. Since March, this event has been conducted as a drive-thru event, to ensure the safety of all of our guests and that of our volunteers.

How You Can Help

This year’s  toy drive has begun and will run through Tuesday, December 15.

Please note : All gifts need to be wrapped before being dropped off  and should include secure  labels with the age group and gender the gift is meant for.  Unisex gifts should be labeled accordingly.

When and where to drop off wrapped gifts, contact free

All gifts should be dropped off at St. Stephen’s Church, located at 9203 Braddock Road in Burke, Va., 22015, no later than Tuesday, Dec. 15. To maintain safety and social distancing for all, we have developed a  contactless  drop off system for all donations. Everyone will be asked to drop their donated gifts in a labeled cart outside church building. Our masked and socially distanced  elves will gather your gifts from the carts. There will be no need to enter the building.

Where you drop off your wrapped gift at the church will depend when you drop off the gift.  Please see the church map below so you will know where our drop off locations are. On the map, Location A is our front door drop off site. Location B is our drop off point near the fellowship hall.

Please click on map for enlarged view

Our volunteers will gather your gifts from these carts after you drop them off.  Volunteers will not be outside when you drop them off. Gifts will be sanitized and stored at the church. Below is a schedule for drop offs.
