“… for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7

Your family is invited to join St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in collecting new  school supplies to help children in need as they return to classes in August.

We will gladly accept any new school supplies – notebooks, markers, crayons, pens and pencils, lined paper (especially wide-ruled), backpacks, scissors, construction paper and binders.

School supplies will be distributed through several of our ministries and partner organizations including Grace Ministries (for students in our community), Browne Education Center, (for students in Washington D.C.), Homestretch and FACETS (students in  Northern Virginia) and Wesley Housing, (students in Alexandria).

Collection boxes/shopping cart will be located outside of the main doors of St. Stephen’s during the church’s business hours (call 703-978-8724 to confirm hours) and in the church’s Gathering Space during our 11 a.m. Sunday in-person worship services. Collections will be accepted June 14 through August 1.  Thank you for your support and generosity.
