CHILDREN & YOUTH

A place to grow, belong, and serve at every age.

From the nursery to high school graduation, St. Stephen’s is a whole-life community for kids and families. We’ve got programming for every stage and the kind of community that sticks.

During the summer months, we gather together for one worship service at 10 am each Sunday. We’ve got childcare covered for kids 12 and younger so the whole family can make it work.

Come September, we shift back into our full rhythm: two services each Sunday. We’ll have nursery for our youngest guest, Sunday school for kids ages 5–18, and Sunday evening youth group for our teens (grades 7–12).

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Something for every kid, every Sunday

Children and youth are fully part of our worship community. They are always welcome in the sanctuary during Sunday services, or they can enjoy our kid-specific programs. Here’s where everyone belongs on Sunday mornings.

Nursery · Ages 0–5

Nursery care

🕐 9:45 am – 11:15 am

Loving, attentive care for your littlest ones during both services. Drop off and worship freely.

Babies & toddlers

Crying Room

🕐 During all services

Got a wiggly baby or a toddler who runs on their own schedule? We've got a space for that. Our crying room sits just off the sanctuary, with a tinted window so you can watch the full service while your little one crawls, plays, and makes all the noise they want.

Ages 6–12

Godly Play

🕐 After the children's message

Kids can exit the sanctuary with our volunteers after the children's message for fun playtime together.

Faith with your hands, not just your Sundays

At St. Stephen’s, kids don’t just learn about serving others, they do it. During the school year, our monthly service programs put faith into action starting in 1st grade. Teens do service projects throughout the year, including a special summer mission trip to North Carolina, where they volunteer with the Harvest of Hope.
