Our classrooms, halls, kitchens and grounds in Burke are open to the community. Whether you're planning a graduation party, a quinceañera, a family reunion or a regular group meeting, we have a room that fits.

Our spaces and rates

Rates are contributions per hour, with a 2-hour minimum for every space. Add a room for child care (a child care provider is required) for $25 per hour.

Single Classroom

A simple, comfortable room for small meetings, tutoring, classes and club gatherings.

No alcohol on church property

Under United Methodist Church policy, alcohol is not permitted anywhere on our premises, including during private events.

Before you book

Contributions are paid in advance.
A $100 cleaning deposit is also required. It is refundable if there are no cleaning issues.
Using the sound or video system requires a church AV technician.
Need a room for child care during your event? Add $25 per hour. Child care providers will incur additional fees.

Members and church groups

Contributions are waived for church-supported activities, such as Scouting America, Girl Scouts and church youth groups.
Church members using our facilities for private functions are asked to contribute 50% of the rates above.
The rates above apply to non-members hosting private functions.

Example: a 4-hour graduation party in the Fellowship Hall is 4 × $150 = $600, plus the $100 refundable cleaning deposit.

Sunday Mornings at St. Stephen’s

Sunday mornings are very active at St. Stephen’s with many opportunities for you to worship and experience the love of God and community. During the school year (September – mid-June), we offer two worship services and a great selection of Sunday School classes for all ages. In the summertime, we switch to one service at 10 am each Sunday.

Nursery (from 8:45 to 12:15 am)

We provide a fully staffed nursery for children from birth through kindergarten, sharing the love of God with your child while you worship and / or attend Sunday School. Our nursery is located in Room C46.

Children in Worship

Children are welcome to worship alongside their families.

During the 11:00 am service, there is always a children’s message. Kids are invited to come to the front of the church and hear a story just for them.

At the end of the story, they can return to sit with their families or follow a volunteer to a classroom for Sunday School. Together with new friends, kids in 1st – 6th grade can learn and have fun while their parents remain in the sanctuary.

For those who choose to worship online, we livestream our services on YouTube.

You will find announcements, events, reminders, photos, prayer concerns and prompts, theological discussions, random thoughts, and much more via these various platforms.
