Your guide to Sunday worship at St. Stephen’s United Methodist  Church in Burke, Va.

St. Stephen’s in Burke, Va., is holding (weather-permitting) outdoor in-person services in the church parking lot on Sundays at 9 a.m. All are invited.

Please be sure to   maintain social distancing and bring a chair or a lawn blanket.

These St. Stephen’s Church in-person services will feature congregational singing.

These services have been arranged in close coordination with the St. Stephen’s Healthy Church team. For more information on the Healthy Church Team and the steps the church are taking to make sure all church events are conducted in a safe and healthy  manner that comply with all  social distancing  measures, please visit our Healthy Church page.

Indoor Worship at St. Stephen's Church in Burke, Va.

St. Stephen’s has resumed holding indoor worship services

St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Burke, Va., successfully resumed  indoor, in-person worship in its sanctuary, Sunday, June 13, 2021.

St. Stephen’s has implemented an online seat reservation system for its  11 a.m. indoor services, designed to ensure a safe and healthy experience for all. Below you can view step by step directions on how to reserve your seats or you can click the link below to go directly to the reservation site.

Masks are currently needed to take part in our services in the sanctuary.

The reservation window for our Sunday indoor services  begins at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and closes at 11 :59 p.m., on Saturday. 

For those not ready to return indoors, we will continue to livestream our 11 a.m. service on YouTube and hold outdoor 9 a.m. services.  We can’t wait to worship with you.

Sunday Morning Live at St. Stephen’s

We are now Livestreaming at 11 a.m., on Sundays on YouTube, with a chat feature allowing you to interact with other worshippers.

Our live service at 11 a.m. replaces our pre-recorded online worship that used to be available at 8:30 a.m., Sundays. The livestream replay will be available for viewing at your convenience on YouTube, without chat replay, by 2 p.m., Sunday.  An archive of the service will also be available on Vimeo in the late evening, Monday.
