Join us this Sunday, September 13, for worship at 9:00 am (contemporary, with communion by intinction) or 11:00 am (traditional, with hymns), followed by our annual Fall Picnic from 12:00–2:00 pm — food, games, and fun for all ages! Pastor Chaney preaches on Matthew 4:18–22, exploring what it means to answer Jesus’ call today.
Other highlights this week: welcome our new staff members Amy Vailikit and Victoria Bateman; reserve your spot for the September 21 blood drive with Inova; dig into our new “Book of Acts: Then and Now” class; help beautify Sanctuary Woods with new native plants; and order a name tag to help us all get to know each other better.

Sunday’s Sermon: Pastor Chaney preaches on the hymn “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling,” exploring God’s love as an endless fountain. One 10:00 am service continues through August; two services (9:00/11:00 am) resume in September.
This Week’s Events: Sunday offers several class options: Social Principles of the UMC, Adult Sunday School, bilingual Bible study, kids’ Nursery/Godly Play, and The Vine’s study of Philemon. School supply collection ends Sunday (goal: 400+ local kids), and Thursday–Saturday brings a food distribution volunteer opportunity with Grace Ministries.

We’re in the final stretch of our school supply drive — help us reach our goal of equipping 400+ local kids for the new school year (donations accepted through August 16th!). Plus, join us Wednesday for a family movie night, and don’t miss “Flat Wesley’s” latest adventures as he travels with our church family. One Sunday service continues at 10:00 am through the end of August. We can’t wait to worship with you!
