Our classrooms, halls, kitchens and grounds in Burke are open to the community. Whether you're planning a graduation party, a quinceañera, a family reunion or a regular group meeting, we have a room that fits.

Our spaces and rates

Rates are contributions per hour, with a 2-hour minimum for every space. Add a room for child care (a child care provider is required) for $25 per hour.

Single Classroom

A simple, comfortable room for small meetings, tutoring, classes and club gatherings.

A smaller kitchen for lighter catering needs.

No alcohol on church property

Under United Methodist Church policy, alcohol is not permitted anywhere on our premises, including during private events.

Before you book

Contributions are paid in advance.
A $100 cleaning deposit is also required. It is refundable if there are no cleaning issues.
Using the sound or video system requires a church AV technician.
Need a room for child care during your event? Add $25 per hour. Child care providers will incur additional fees.

Members and church groups

Contributions are waived for church-supported activities, such as Scouting America, Girl Scouts and church youth groups.
Church members using our facilities for private functions are asked to contribute 50% of the rates above.
The rates above apply to non-members hosting private functions.

Example: a 4-hour graduation party in the Fellowship Hall is 4 × $150 = $600, plus the $100 refundable cleaning deposit.

Media/Tech Request Form

Join Our Team!

The St. Stephen’s UMC Media Team is always looking for new team members to help out during the services and events at the Church. Ranging from sound engineers to projection technicians and video engineers, there is a place for you in our team.

The Media Team does sound work and records all three services every Sunday as well as displaying song lyrics and bible verses during the contemporary 9:00 Source service. Also, we are responsible for any audio or video equipment and presentations throughout the Church.

Even if you have never done anything related to tech ministries before, you are welcome to sit in on a service (or more than one) for a couple weeks and see if it is something that you would be interested in devoting time and energy to. And if you are interested, we would be thrilled to train you in any of the fields that we work in and have you join our team!

And even if you find that tech ministries just aren’t your thing, we won’t take that personally. After all, there are plenty of other ministries that you can volunteer with at St. Stephen’s.
